Supporting multiple Operating Systems on multiple hardware platforms is complex. Each have there own methods and processes to do the same task.
To simplify the process for all users, we have built a unified platform into our website so the process is identical if a user moves between platforms or Operating Systems.
If you are an existing Trial or Subscription user of BETSI, the process is the same:
2. Authorize via Etsy web page
3. You will return to www.blugrin.com and will be take to either the Trial or Subscription Dashboard. If BETSI is installed, then you will see the following screen shot with instructions on how to un-install.
4. Right-Click on the instructions and a popup menu will appear with the “Remove Application” option. Selecting this option will un-install BETSI from your computer regardless on Operating System version or hardware platform.
5. Once the dashboard automatically identifies that BETSI is un-installed, an INSTALL button will appear. Clicking the INSTALL button will begin the installation process (takes less than a minute)
Windows PC Users
The installation process will automatically put an application icon on your desktop and in your Start Menu. BETSI will also automatically start.
MAC OS-X Users
BETSI will download into your Downloads folder. Your Web Browser will give you the option to Open Downloads Folder.
Selecting Open will a Finder Window.
Then you can Drag BETSI to either your desktop or Applications Folder or launch directly from the Downloads folder.
How do you know if you have the latest version?
When BETSI starts, the application will automatically check if the latest version is installed. If there is a newer version, then a message window will be displayed alerting you that there is a newer version. Visiting www.blugrin.com/news, you can read about the latest updates. There is also a NEWS menu option in BETSI as well.
How do you know which version you are installing?
The top right corner of the Installer/Dashboard and the top Right corner of the BETSI application Window displays the version number. Please check www.blugrin.com/news for the latest version number and when you Go to the Sign In web page, that the correct version number is display.
If the incorrect version number is displayed on the Sign In web page, then you will need to clear your web browser history, close all web browser windows, restart your web browser, then revisit the Sign In web page.
